Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about air compressor service, maintenance, and parts from Air Service of Florida.

Service & Support

We service all major types of industrial air compressors — rotary screw, reciprocating (piston), centrifugal, and vane compressors. Brands include Sullivan Palatek, Chicago Pneumatic, Atlas Copco, Gardner Denver, Quincy, Kaeser, Sullair, and many others. If you don't see your brand listed, give us a call — we almost certainly service it.

Yes — we are available 24/7 by phone, text, or email for emergency service requests. When your compressor goes down we respond fast to minimize downtime and get your operation back up. Call us at 407-489-9288 (Orlando) or 863-289-2517 (Davenport).

We serve Orlando, Davenport, and the greater Central Florida region — including manufacturing facilities, automotive shops, food processing plants, and industrial operations across the area. Our two locations allow us to cover a wide geographic range with fast response times.

For standard service calls, we typically respond same day or next business day. For emergencies, we offer 24/7 phone and text support and will dispatch a technician as quickly as possible. Our goal is always to minimize your downtime.

Preventive Maintenance

Most compressors benefit from a maintenance visit every 3–6 months, depending on operating hours, environmental conditions, and manufacturer recommendations. High-duty-cycle machines in dusty or hot environments may need more frequent attention. We'll help you determine the right interval based on your specific equipment and usage.

A typical PM visit includes oil and filter changes, belt inspection and tensioning, air-end assessment, air/oil separator evaluation, system pressure and temperature checks, valve inspection, and a full operational review — all designed to catch wear before it causes an unplanned failure.

Yes — we offer structured preventive maintenance contracts on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. A service contract locks in your scheduled visits, prioritizes your calls during busy periods, and is typically more cost-effective than reactive repairs. Contact us for a tailored maintenance plan.

Parts & Equipment

We sell industrial air compressors from Chicago Pneumatic, Mark (Gardner Denver), Mattei, Saylor-Beall, Pneumatech, and NANO Purification Solutions. Our lineup covers rotary screw, reciprocating piston, and vane compressor types, along with air dryers, process chillers, and filtration systems.

Yes — our sourcing team works with a broad distributor network to locate OEM and aftermarket parts for virtually any brand, including Atlas Copco, Sullair, Kaeser, and Quincy. If we don't have your part on the shelf, we can typically source it with next-day availability.

We stock both OEM and quality aftermarket components — including filters, air/oil separators, lubricants, valves, belts, and replacement wear parts. This gives you cost-effective options without sacrificing reliability or warranty coverage.

System Design & Audits

A compressed air audit is a full efficiency assessment using ultrasonic leak detectors and data-logging equipment. We measure pressure, flow, and power consumption across your system over time to identify leaks, inefficiencies, and oversized or undersized equipment. Audits typically reveal 20–30% in recoverable energy savings.

Common signs include a compressor that runs more frequently than normal or never fully unloads, unexpected pressure drops at the point of use, and rising energy costs without a change in production. Our ultrasonic leak survey can pinpoint every leak in your system accurately — without interrupting production.

Yes — we design and install aluminum and steel compressed air piping systems for manufacturing plants, auto shops, and industrial facilities across Central Florida. We begin with an on-site assessment to design a layout optimized for airflow, pressure retention, and future expansion capacity.

Fill out our contact form, call us directly, or send an email. To get the most accurate proposal, share your compressor make and model (if replacing), required pressure (PSI) and flow (CFM), your site location, and any timeline requirements. Our team will follow up promptly with options and pricing.
